Broadland Bolts look set to win the inaugural Division One championship and secure promotion to the Super Sevens after two more victories in the Tchoukball UK national league. Broadland saw off Southampton Elks comfortably, as well being given the points after Portsmouth Ducks were unable to fulfil their fixture.
This leaves them with eight straight wins, sitting six points clear with just six games to go. Also benefitting from the Ducks' absence was Bury Saints, who moved into second place after their victory against the Elks. They jump above Leeds Cosmos on head-to-head record who beat Portsmouth Uni Pythons and Innov8 Marlborough respectively. Southampton Elks sit fourth followed by Pythons who scraped a narrow victory over Headingley Outlaws. Headlingley defeated Innov8, who are still looking for their first win of the season, to go sixth, above Ducks, with Innov8 at the foot of the table. In the Super Sevens Bury Kings put in a impressive performance against Southampton Stags to stay top, also beating Farnborough Jets. Guildford stayed second with another comeback victory against Fareham Rhinos before defeating Leeds Galaxy. Leeds remain third after a strong performance against Farnborough, eight points ahead of Southampton who have two games in advance. Despite losing to Bury, Southampton came back with a dominant victory over Fareham Rhinos. Rhinos sit in sixth, below Portsmouth Ducks who were not in action, while Farnborough’s two losses keep them at the foot of the table.
