Tchoukball UK is seeking its first Chairperson, who will provide ambitious leadership to the Board of Directors and to the wider organisation in shaping and developing the next phase of our strategy.

The successful applicant will join Tchoukball UK at an exciting time in our history as we recently submitted our bid for UK Sports Councils recognition. We are confident we have a strong case and think this would be a major step in getting the nation involved in our fantastic sport. We are also planning on hosting the European Tchoukball Championships (senior and youth) in the summer of 2022, the first European continental competition in four years, and the first international competition in three years for Team UK.

The new Chair of the Board of Directors of Tchoukball UK will be an innovative and experienced leader with the ability to build strong relationships and forge a compelling future for our sport. As a young board, we are looking for someone who can guide us and help us steer our NGB towards further growth and recognition. The Chair will support and, where appropriate, challenge the Chief Executive Officer and ensure that the Board works together to achieve agreed objectives. They will act as an ambassador for Tchoukball UK and engage with key stakeholders on behalf of the sport.

Formed in 2018, the TUK Board of Directors consists of four Membership Directors, one Independent Director for Development, and two Ex Officio members of the TUK Senior Executive Team. The Board is currently working to develop our next five-year strategic plan for delivering tchoukball to schools, universities and communities in the UK.

We are ideally looking for someone with experience from sporting organisations. No prior knowledge of tchoukball is necessary; we are more than happy to teach you!
