Andrew St Ledger

Andrew St Ledger, Communications Director for Tchoukball UK has announced his resignation from the Board. Andrew leaves Tchoukball UK after 12 years of service at the top level. Citing increasing professional demands on his time, Andrew wrote to the Board last month.

The Board accepted his resignation officially at the latest meeting and afterwards CEO Philip Moore spoke of Andrew’s contribution.

“Andrew has been a solid presence at Tchoukball UK for some time having joined us in 2003. He was instrumental in the ‘New Year New Sport’ programme we launched in 2007 and many of our volunteers and players started their work at that time.”

Operations Director Richard Jackson added:

“Andrew and I took over the running of the national squads in 2006 as well as leading the Board of Directors. It was a challenging time with many of the previous generation of tchoukball players and leaders moving on. Andrew was always extremely motivated and contributed greatly to the success of the national squads that year.”

St Ledger commented on his decision:

“It is sad to leave Tchoukball UK after so many years involvement but it is important that the great work of the Board and of our volunteers continues. Although I am leaving, I leave on great terms. I will always be available for advice and I look forward to seeing tchoukball develop over the coming years.”

The Board will shortly announce the restructuring plans that will follow Andrew’s departure and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
